Gold Coast Rental Watch is a small independent site. There are no accounts.

If you sign up on the home page, we check that the address looks like an email. When the list is running, we add it with Resend, the service that sends the note. If you were already on the list, you don’t get another welcome email. A new signup gets one. That email has a link to unsubscribe. Confirming it stops the note. It doesn’t delete anything else. Resend keeps the address. Their privacy notice describes that system.
If we can’t add you to the list, we check the address and then throw it away. It isn’t saved, and it isn’t passed to an email service.
The form has a field people aren’t meant to see. If that field is filled in, we don’t keep the address. It is there to ignore automated signups.
Calculator and checklist
Rent, income, and checklist ticks stay in your browser. They are not sent to us. Checklist ticks disappear when you leave the page. They are not saved on your device.
What we don’t use
There are no advertising cookies. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views. We don’t ask you to create an account.
Hosting
The site is built to run on Vercel. Like any host, their infrastructure may process IP addresses in ordinary server logs. Vercel Web Analytics is their page-view counter, described in Vercel’s own privacy notice.
Other sites
Links to the Residential Tenancies Authority, Translink, QCAT, and others leave this site. Those organisations have their own privacy notices. We don’t see what you do there.
